IRIS® Channel Adapter

IRIS® Channel Adapter is a hardware/software product to connect challenge L/XL systems to an IBM Block Multiplex Channel. With this connection, the SGI system can use available 5080 emulation, 3270 emulation and high speed file transfer applications.
